Abstract
Over the past five and a half years Wikidata has made great strides in giving more people more access to more knowledge. In this talk we'll show major milestones of the past year as well as an overview of the many ways in which Wikidata is used to find and bridge gaps in knowledge every single day. We'll show the ways in which everyone can do their little part in giving more people more access to more knowledge with the help of Wikidata.
Outcomes
Attendees should go out of the session with a good understanding of the major achievements of Wikidata over the past year. They should have an overview of how Wikidata is helping to bridge knowledge gaps right now and how it can help in the future. They should feel empowered to use the available tools to fill knowledge gaps themselves.
