Abstract
Wikidata-enabled infoboxes have been introduced on various language Wikipedias over the last few years. They bring a range of advantages, including displaying the same information in different languages, and holding that information in a structured way on Wikidata. They bridge knowledge gaps between language communities due to the inherent multilingualism of Wikidata, with editors adding structured information in their own language that can then be displayed in other languages using item labels. This workshop will teach attendees how to code such infoboxes on their own language Wikipedia (and beyond, on Commons and other Wikimedia projects); how to use them in a variety of articles; and the pitfalls to avoid along the way.
