Abstract

This presentation will offer a strategic approch to include minority languages into Wikimedia projects. It will show, how a project helped Shawi language revival through Wikimedia projects (voice recordings, Wiktionary workshops, Wikidata inclusion, Commons uploads, Wikimedia based Shawi language MOCC ).

Outcomes

How to set up efficiently a program to include minority languages content into Wikimedia projects (involve language speakers, sound recording, massively upload on commons, Wikidata integration, reuse within Wikipedia and Wiktionary, Wikimedia based language MOCCs).
