Wikipedia 101 for Librarians

Wikipedia 101 for Librarians is a Wikimania pre-conference organised by The Wikipedia Library to train librarians on how to contribute to Wikipedia and sister projects. The training will also focus on showcasing opportunities that exist around libraries and librarians working with Wikipedia.

Audience

The Wikipedia 101 for Librarians pre-conference event is targeted at librarians, library staff, archivists and information technology professionals attending Wikimania or in South Africa and want to learn or explore new opportunities of providing access to information and extending offline services to Wikipedia and the internet at large.
